The Nestor Peak Trail is a great hiking trail near Spencer Reservoir, and Spencer Reservoir is good enough to spend more than a day at, Bridge RV Park is a good local campground. In case you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on White Salmon River, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Little Baldy Trail.       This lake is so wonderful. Rattlesnake Creek has a glorious whitewater paddling spot close by; Cooper Spur is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood. Spencer Reservoir is a rather wet place regularly with a great deal of rainfall; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow; July is when it's the driest. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the Northern Cascade Range has to offer. On a great day at Spencer Reservoir you                  can take a hike along the Little White Salmon Trail, and great water scenery is available at Spencer Reservoir Dam in the neighborhood of Spencer Reservoir. Camping at Sunset RV Park is always a delightful experience; a fine close by hotel is Comfort Suites Hood River. During the summer months highs here at Spencer Reservoir get into the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and overnight lows in the 20's for Spencer Reservoir. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a fine time here at Spencer Reservoir. Near Spencer Reservoir you discover a golf course called Husum Hills Golf Course, and if you need a place to stay Best Western Hood River Inn is a pleasant choice. This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Cascade Range. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! The Northern Cascade Range is unbeatable!
