If you came for an overnight stay M Bar J Trailer Ranch is a delightful place to camp; Dry Coulee is another nice site to have a look at close by. All year is a great time in the Northern Cascade Range if you go for the outdoors. On a good day at Spaulding Lake you can take a hike along the Funk Mountain Trail, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore close by Leader       Lake. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Northern Cascade Range. Very wonderful water scenery is available at Leader Lake Saddle Dam near Spaulding Lake, and Best Western Peppertree Omak Inn is a great spot to get some rest. Through the summer months here at Spaulding Lake, high temperatures generally reach the 80's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 50's.
