The beauty of Spade Lake is reason enough to stop by. You get a magnificent sight of Mount Daniel from Spade Lake, and why not take a little trip to Chief Creek while you're here. At Spade Lake through the summertime highs are in the 60's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 40's. Highs throughout the winter are frequently in the 20's; through the dark hours in the winter at Spade Lake temperatures drop to the 10's. Be careful coming to

the wettest month of the year is mostly January, that's the one that snows the most; the driest of the months is July. If you need a place to stay Stewart Lodge is a fine choice. That right there is a lot of enjoyable stuff already
but it goes on, the Northern Cascade Range has it all. What would a location like Spade Lake be without out of the ordinary nearby traits like Lynch Glacier; dry warm beds await you at Suncadia Resort. If you go for the outdoors,
you'll love Spade Lake. There's so much to do here at Spade Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Hour Creek Campground is a delightful spot for that, and Circle Lake is a perfect lake nearby. What would winter be without some
skiing at Snoqualmie; hiking is a popular thing to do around Spade Lake; Escondido Trail is a good local trail. Spade Lake is one of the lakes here in the Northern Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. A brilliant site for whitewater paddling close to Spade Lake is Cooper River, and the Lake Michael Trail offers hiking at its best.
