On a glorious day at South Twin Lake you can take a hike along the Daisy Trail, and Beaver Dam Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth stopping at. This lake is so wonderful. Beaches are magnificent; and Carson Beach in the vicinity of South Twin Lake is no exception, and nearby you discover the Seventeenmile Trail which is a       fine hiking trail. Throughout the months of summer at South Twin Lake highs are commonly in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 40's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 20's while the cold winter nights at South Twin Lake are in the 10's. This site is peerless, just check out all the entertaining things to do in the neighborhood of South Twin Lake. Not far from South Twin Lake, you'll find Twin Lakes which is a                  scenic lake, and a splendid spot to camp here at South Twin Lake is Rocky Point Campground. There is a brilliant hiking trail in close proximity to South Twin Lake called the White Mountain Trail. Around South Twin Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
