A wonderful spot close to Source Lake is Hemlock Pass, and you can go for a hike on the Annette Lake Trail. So many entertaining things to do here in the Northern Cascade Range, too great to be true. While you're here at Source Lake, you could also stop at lovely Snow Lake; Snoqualmie River - South Fork is a splendid whitewater spot nearby. Source Lake is a wet place that gets a large amount of precipitation; January is the month that gets the most rain,
and the driest of the months is July.
All year is a great time in the Northern Cascade Range if you fancy the outdoors. The slopes of Snoqualmie are so inviting nobody can resist, and Howard Johnson Snoqualmie/Summit is a fine spot to get some rest. Put some time aside to spend at Franklin Falls if you're here at Source Lake, and perfect hiking is available along the Pratt Lake Trail. Source Lake beyond doubt is in the middle of a scenic outdoors paradise.

West Fork Campground is a good campground nearby.
For the period of the warm days of summer highs here at Source Lake get into the 70's while nighttime lows are regularly in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Source Lake sink into the 30's. This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. If you're addicted to cool geologic characteristics, try The Tooth, and going for a hike on the Middle Fork Trail is always a good adventure.
What a place this is for outdoors people. Alpental is a great local ski area, and Melakwa Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at. This lake is so wonderful. Commonwealth Campground is a brilliant local campground, and swing by Denny Creek it's a tremendous place to explore. The top of Bryant Peak is easily observed from Source Lake, and if you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Dingford Creek.

With four unique base areas and less than an hour from Seattle on Interstate 90, no other resort in the country offers so much variety with this much convenience. Honey Lake
10 miles away
The lake no longer has any trails to it. All trails are gone from nature reclaiming it. The only way into lake is through quartz creek road(no vehicles)2.5 miles. From there it is a bushwack up to the ridge(2000 ft). From the ridge you can see honey lake. 1000 feet down. The bush is thick in that area (45 degree angle going up and down(or it seem that steep). 15 years ago some guys fished out the lake in one day. Before tha the fish were between 18 to 24 inches rainbow. If you can make it you deserve the good fishing. Haven't fished there in 20 years it may not have any fish in it or it has big fish (I dont know never made it close enough recently to fish). Good luck. ...

This peak is trailless, meaning a portion or all of the route up the mountain is via an unmarked trail. For this particular mountain, the typical route is known as a ''herd path'' which is not much more than a worn, but unmarked trail. Some of the herd paths are easy to follow, others are not. In many instances the hiker will travel down a false herd path and eventually have to correct his/her course via backtracking. For these particular mountains, it is imperative that the hiker carry a compass (and know how to use it) and topographic map....

Stephens Pass

Stevens has a wide diversity of trails and runs that suits every riding style. From beginner to expert and for those terrain park junkies Stevens has you covered. I think what's special about Stevens is you can find your own little part of the mountain which is all yours, I have 4-5 little runs that cross between trails and off-piste that are all mine. Also the snow is crazy good, powder almost all the time. My favorite runs are Orion, some tree skiing near wall street, and right above the power lines. Stevens also has some pretty sweet out of bounds stuff to so check it out...
