Sol Duc Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Near Sol Duc Lake you locate the Deer Lake Trail which is a splendid hiking trail, and camping is available at Log Cabin Resort and Trailer. This lake is located in the wonderful Olympic Mountains. That right there is a heap of enjoyable things already but it goes on, the Olympic Mountains has it all. Much rainfall falls at Sol Duc Lake; November is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is July. Whohoo, so many cool things in one place! Sol Duc Lake is unbeatable! There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Hurricane Ridge Ski Lodge, and going for a hike on the Hoh River Trail is always a great adventure. and the night is fairly cooler of course, commonly in the 40's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 40's; after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Sol Duc Lake fall into the 30's.
There is a brilliant hiking trail close to Sol Duc Lake called the Soleduck Trail; don't forget to take a wonderful little trip to Seven Lakes Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort,
