Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! Sol Duc Lake is great! A lake nearby is Clear Lake, and one of the dominant traits of the surroundings of Sol Duc Lake is Bogachiel Peak. If you go for the outdoors you'll go for it here in the Olympic Mountains. Get your heart beating on the glorious whitewater       of Soleduck River; the Deer Lake Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. There's nice hiking along the Soleduck Trail, and a nice place to camp here at Sol Duc Lake is Log Cabin Resort and Trailer. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Lyre River, and Sol Duc Lake is not the only spot close by, Lunch Lake is a close by lake. You'll meet a lot of folks from Port Angeles here, and why not take a refreshing                  hike along the Hoh River Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A good close by hotel is Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort; do set aside some time for Seven Lakes Basin since you're here at Sol Duc Lake. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Olympic Mountains. After a long day outdoors Lake Quinault Lodge is a splendid site to spend a night or two, and some close by water includes Seven Lakes Creek. This lake is one of the great places here in the Olympic Mountains. All the outdoors enjoyable stuff close to Sol Duc Lake will keep you coming back again and again. Olympic National Park is a splendid local destination here at Sol Duc Lake. Through the long summer days here at Sol Duc Lake, high temperatures mostly get into the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 40's while Sol Duc Lake nighttime low temperatures through the winter are in the 30's.
