Summer at Simmons Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Simmons Lake. Simmons Lake is located in the Olympic Mountains. Camping is available at Coach Post Mobile Home Park, and a day at picturesque Countryside Beach in close proximity to Simmons Lake       is a great thing to do. This lake is so wonderful. Simmons Lake sits in the shade of the Black Hills, and if you need a place to stay Red Lion Hotel Olympia is a tremendous choice. At Simmons Lake you always meet someone from Olympia, and if you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cedar Creek. This place is great, just explore all the enjoyable things to do in close proximity to Simmons Lake. If you're here at                  Simmons Lake and you like golf, you can visit Tumwater Valley Municipal Golf Course; if you came for an overnight stay Salmon Shores Resort is a delightful location to camp.
