Silver Lake

usually gets a good deal of rain; the month with most of the rain is November, and the driest month is July. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Northern Cascade Range. Going for a hike along the Meadow Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood; Skykomish River - North Fork is a fine whitewater spot close by. Ida Lake is a tremendous lake in the neighborhood of Silver Lake; you can have a fine hiking adventure
along the Camp Creek Ridge Trail.
There are other places here than Silver Lake, for example Twin Lakes, and Silvertip Peak is a peak you can distinguish from Silver Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Silvertip Campground is a magnificent local campground, and Alpental is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Silver Lake. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Silver Lake.
This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Cascade Range. All year is a fine time in the Northern Cascade Range if you fancy the outdoors. Stephens Pass has splendid slopes and a friendly staff; if you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Silver Creek.

Stevens has a wide diversity of trails and runs that suits every riding style. From beginner to expert and for those terrain park junkies Stevens has you covered. I think what's special about Stevens is you can find your own little part of the mountain which is all yours, I have 4-5 little runs that cross between trails and off-piste that are all mine. Also the snow is crazy good, powder almost all the time. My favorite runs are Orion, some tree skiing near wall street, and right above the power lines. Stevens also has some pretty sweet out of bounds stuff to so check it out...
