    If you like lakes and you're in this part of Washington you can check out Silver Lake. Silver Lake is a wet site that gets a good deal of precipitation; during the month of November you get the most rain around here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. These mountains rock, just look at all the amusing stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you  
   then we recommend Lost River; a good place to stop by nearby is Silver Pass.
Yeah, come here to Silver Lake for a tremendous time. The Monument Creek Trail offers hiking at its best, and Silver Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Holman Campground is a tremendous local campground. This lake is so wonderful. There are some fine whitewater spots on Canyon Creek - Skagit Tributary; you're probably interested in lakes, Buckskin Lake is one
 
               of those nearby. There's so much to do here at Silver Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Meadows Campground is a magnificent spot for that, and why not a little side visit to Silver Creek.
Silver Lake is a beautiful lake in the Northern Cascade Range. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Silver Lake; West Fork Methow Trail is a good local trail. Lakes are tremendous; Ferguson Lake is a lake that's near Silver Lake. You just have to love the Northern Cascade Range. At Silver Lake you can catch a sight of Haystack Mountain, and Silver Lake is right by the Driveway Butte Trail.
The warmest time of the year at Silver Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Silver Lake temperatures fall to the 20's.
