Go to Silver Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. After a long day outdoors Juan De Fuca Cottages is a great location to spend a night or two; there's whitewater on Dosewallips River for all you adrenaline people. This lake is so wonderful. On a delightful day you obtain a view of Mount Townsend from Silver Lake, and going for a hike on the Tubal Cain Mine Trail is always a wonderful adventure. | | in the 60's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 40's while Silver Lake overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 30's. The Olympic Mountains scenery is always beautiful. all the entertaining stuff in the Olympic Mountains. You're in all probability addicted to lakes, Sink Lake is one of those nearby; a wooded vicinity nearby is Quilcene Ranger District. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place
to stay Holiday Plaza Sequim Inn is a good choice. Not much precipitation falls here at Silver Lake; the wettest month of the year is usually December, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is July. You can run the rapids of Dungeness River near Silver Lake, and you can go for a hike on the Mount Zion Trail.
