If you are in this part of Washington make sure to pay a visit to Shuksan Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Cascade Range. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Ruth Creek. Lakes are splendid; Sulphide Lake is a lake that's close to Shuksan Lake. Shuksan Lake mostly gets a great deal of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is November while July is usually the driest month.

| | mostly in the 70's, and the night is slightly colder of course, generally in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 40's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Shuksan Lake descend into the 30's. Eagles Nest Motel & RV Park is a good location to get some rest, and if you need a spot to stay Totem Trail Motel is a fine choice. All the outdoors fun things near Shuksan Lake will keep you coming back many times.

not all there is to do here in the Northern Cascade Range. Some of the water close by flows, like Blum Creek, and a great place to camp here at Shuksan Lake is Kulshan Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Float down the rapids of
Baker River in a kayak; Shuksan Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Hannegan Campground is a tremendous local campground.
