In Washington there are many beautiful lakes, Shoestring Lake is one of them. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend American River, and hiking along the Kaner Flat Trail is tremendous fun. Shoestring Lake is located in the Northern Cascade Range. Summertime highs at Shoestring Lake generally tend to be in the 60's while overnight lows are frequently in the 40's. Daytime highs throughout the

| | winter are in the 20's while Shoestring Lake night low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 10's.
Now, you may assume that's a heap but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Shoestring Lake. Stewart Lodge is a magnificent place to get some rest, and Shoestring Lake is right by the Frost Mountain Lookout Trail. This lake is so wonderful. in a year January is the one with the most snow, and July on the other hand is the driest.
So much exciting stuff to do here in the Northern Cascade Range, too brilliant to be true. There's whitewater on Cle Elum River for all
you adrenaline kick people; not far from Shoestring Lake you'll hit upon Milk Lake which is a picturesque lake. Man, is there heaps of enjoyable stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Do set aside some time for Frost Meadows if
you're here at Shoestring Lake, and you can stay the night at Halfway Flat Campground II. During your visit to Shoestring Lake you'll meet some people from Ellensburg for sure; after a long day outdoors Best Western Snowcap Lodge
is a good spot to spend a night or two.
There's so much to do here at Shoestring Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Halfway Flat Campground I is a good place for that, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Keenan Meadows Trail.
