What a nice lake Shoestring Lake is. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Northern Cascade Range. Halfway Flat Campground II is a good campground nearby, and probably you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Lost Lake is just a very short distance away. This lake is so wonderful. Near Shoestring Lake you discover the Keenan Meadows Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail, as expected you could also have a look at Taneum Lake since you're here; it's not far at

| | all. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Shoestring Lake you'll perhaps meet some folks from Ellensburg.
The high level of rainfall makes Shoestring Lake a rather wet spot; January is when you get the most snow here; July on the other hand is the driest. Go for a hike on the Kaner Flat Trail, and Shoestring Lake is a glorious place to visit for more than one day, Halfway Flat Campground I is a glorious place to camp nearby. the Northern Cascade Range will keep you coming back repeatedly. Going for a hike on the Frost Mountain Lookout Trail is always a great adventure, and there are some splendid whitewater spots on Cle Elum River.
Get yourself into
a kayak and hit American River; Stewart Lodge is a glorious place to get some rest. Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a glorious time here at Shoestring Lake. If you need a location to stay Suncadia Resort is a tremendous
choice, and don’t forget to have a look at Frost Meadows while you're here at Shoestring Lake. Summer at Shoestring Lake comes with high temperatures in the 60's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into
the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Shoestring Lake fall into the 10's.
This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Cascade Range.
