Be careful coming to the Northern Cascade Range, you might not ever wanna go home again. You can run the rapids of Pilchuck Creek in the vicinity of Shiner Lake; dry warm beds await you at Arlington Motor Inn. A common amount of rain falls here at Shiner Lake; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain while July is generally the driest month. Nearby lakes? Sure, Big Lake is close to Shiner Lake, and camping is available at Lake Associates

A since you're here, and after a long day outdoors Days Inn Mt Vernon is a splendid place to spend a night or two. This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. You could also go to Cultus
Mountain Reservoir since you're here at Shiner Lake; it's close by. During the days of summer, highs mostly are in the 70's at Shiner Lake. Through the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Shiner Lake.
