While you're here at Shiner Lake you will meet lots of people from nearby Mount Vernon-Anacortes, and after a long day outdoors Mt. Vernon Days Inn is a wonderful location to spend a night or two. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Shiner Lake. A lake close by is Big Lake. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Shiner Lake has to offer, you       can camp at Pilchuck Bridge Campground. An average amount of rainfall falls at Shiner Lake; November is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is July. Shiner Lake is a fine place to camp, Lake Associates Recreation Clb is a fine place; Overlook Golf Course is a brilliant golf course close by. Through the summertime, highs frequently are in the 70's at Shiner Lake, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures                  during the wintertime are normally in the 40's; night lows throughout the wintertime for Shiner Lake tend to be in the 30's. This site, the Northern Cascade Range, has so much outdoors amusing stuff. If you need a place to stay Best Western Cottontree Inn is a great choice, and a brilliant location for whitewater paddling is Pilchuck Creek. So much fun stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range, not sufficient time. If you haven’t been to Lake Chelan National Recreation Area, you must schedule some time for it since you're here, and some of the water close by flows, like Cold Spring Creek.
