There's so much to do here at Sheep Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Killen Creek Campground is a brilliant location for that, and you can observe The Bumper from Sheep Lake. These mountains rock, just look at all the fun stuff to do in the       Northern Cascade Range. While you're here at Sheep Lake, you could also check out charming Lookingglass Lake, and what would winter be without some skiing at White Pass. If you want a brilliant time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Northern Cascade Range. Sheep Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Chain of Lakes Campground is a nice local campground, and Sheep Lake is right by the Highline Trail. Don’t forget to go to Horseshoe                  Meadow while you're here at Sheep Lake, and White Salmon River is a brilliant whitewater spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. You need to stop at Burnt Rock if you're here at Sheep Lake, and the Round The Mountain Trail offers hiking at its best. For the period of the summer months at Sheep Lake highs are usually in the 70's; the overnight is quite chillier of course, typically in the 40's. Throughout the wintertime highs are usually in the 30's, and overnight lows all through the wintertime for Sheep Lake tend to be in the 20's. Sheep Lake is one of the lakes here in the Northern Cascade Range. If you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Lewis River - North Fork; there's wonderful hiking along the Divide Camp Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
