Shadow Lake is a wet place that gets a good deal of rainfall; all through December this area sees the most rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Do go to Lake Beecher in the vicinity of Shadow Lake, it's a striking lake, and Builders Dam has fine water scenery.
