Shadow Lake gets a normal amount of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily December, that's the one that rains the most, and July meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. There's some attention-grabbing stuff to spot at Youngs Lake Old Inlet Dam near Shadow Lake;       if the weather is gorgeous, you acquire a magnificent panorama of Cedar Mountain from Shadow Lake. Lake Wilderness Golf Course is a good golf course nearby, as expected you could also visit Peterson Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. This place is so good, just check out all the entertaining things to do close to Shadow Lake. There's so much to do here at Shadow Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Issaquah Highlands Camping Club is a delightful                  site for that; if you've had enough of Shadow Lake, Spring Lake is close by. After a long day outdoors Hilton Garden Inn Seattle/Issaquah is a delightful place to spend a night or two, and there are some great whitewater spots on Cedar River. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Shadow Lake. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are typically in the 40's, and nighttime lows at Shadow Lake through the wintertime regularly dip into the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Shadow Lake you will meet lots of folks from close by Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Green River.
