All year is a wonderful time in the Northern Cascade Range if you love the outdoors. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Chewuch River; hiking is a popular thing to do around Scheelite Lake; Windy Trail is a splendid local trail. Scheelite Lake is a location that is reasonably dehydrated frequently; during the month of December you get the most snow around here while July is frequently the driest month. | | temperatures frequently get into the 80's while nighttime lows are generally in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Scheelite Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such peaceful places, why not stop at Pocket Lake close to Scheelite Lake, and Scheelite Lake is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Andrews Creek Campground is a splendid local campground. | |

This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Clutch Trail; from Scheelite Lake you acquire a wonderful panorama of Teapot Dome. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Northern Cascade Range. If you came to
camp Thirtymile Campground is a great spot to do that, and after a long day outdoors Americas Best Value Inn-Winthrop is a glorious site to spend a night or two. You'll hit upon a pretty lake called Tungsten Lake near Scheelite Lake;
Scheelite Pass is a fine spot to go to. Scheelite Lake is located in the Northern Cascade Range. All the outdoors exciting things right next door to Scheelite Lake will keep you coming back over and over. Drift down the rapids of Chewuch River in a kayak; why not take a refreshing hike along the Long Draw Trail.
