Dry warm beds await you at Rodeway Inn & Suites, and Schalow Mountain is pretty and can be seen from here. Schallow Lake Dam is a pretty place in the neighborhood of Schallow Lake, and Sugarloaf Campgrounds is a good local campground. Schallow Lake is a fine location to visit for more than one day, Lazy Daze RV Park is a fine location to camp nearby, and on a fine day you can take a hike along the Sarsapkin Creek Trail. This lake       is so wonderful. Not far from Schallow Lake, you'll locate Schalow Pond which is a pretty lake. Not much rainfall falls here at Schallow Lake; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most snow, and the driest of the months is July. And if you're still looking for more outdoors fun stuff just keep reading. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Loup Loup Ski Bowl, and there is a pleasant hiking trail nearby called the Funk Mountain Trail. At Schallow                  Lake during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Schallow Lake are in the 10's. These mountains rock, just look at all the entertaining stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Lakes? Sure, Fish Lake is around here, and close by you stumble on the Coxit Creek Trail which is a nice hiking trail. You simply have to have a thing about the Northern Cascade Range. Take a side visit to Coulee Creek; if you need a place to stay Best Western Peppertree Inn at Omak is a tremendous choice.
