It's always fun to stop by Sauk Lake. Yep, outdoors cool things to do are beyond doubt bountiful here at Sauk Lake. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Sauk Lake has to offer, you can camp at Wilderness Village. This lake is so wonderful. If you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Skagit River; Bald Mountain is striking and can be made out from here. Through the warm months, highs commonly are in the 70's

For the period of the winter highs are in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Sauk Lake temperatures drop to the 30's. Sauk Lake is a tremendous spot to camp, Clark's Skagit River Resort is a tremendous spot, and magnificent hiking is available along the Finney Peak Trail. Totem Trail Motel is a delightful spot to spend a night or two. Sauk Lake is located in the Northern Cascade Range. Sauk Lake is a wet site that gets a lot of rain; through November this area sees the most rain while July is the
month with the least amount of precipitation. So much fun stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range, not enough time. There's wonderful hiking along the Gee Point Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Eagles Nest Motel & RV Park.
