This lake is located in the wonderful Olympic Mountains. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Olympic Mountains. Pederson Creek is next to Satsop Lakes and is always a joy to pop by, and the Skyline Trail is a delightful hiking trail nearby. There's whitewater on Baker Creek for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and a great site to camp here at Satsop       Lakes is Coho Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Parkhurst Motel, and Satsop Lakes is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Wynoochee Falls Campground is a wonderful local campground. For the period of the warmest time of the year highs here at Satsop Lakes reach the 70's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Satsop Lakes.                  Having a great time at Satsop Lakes is simple. You get a nice vista of Chapel Peak from Satsop Lakes, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Satsop River - Middle Fork.
