Many people like to go to Satsop Lakes. This lake is one of the great places here in the Olympic Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Satsop River - Middle Fork, and you'll come across a pretty lake called Pine Lake. For the duration of the warmest time of the year highs here at Satsop Lakes get into the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 40's. Highs during the winter are

| | mostly in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Satsop Lakes are in the 30's.
Just can't get enough of the Olympic Mountains. Camping is available at Wynoochee Falls Campground; the top of Chapel Peak is easily seen from Satsop Lakes. There's whitewater on Baker Creek for all you thrill seekers, and why not camp at Coho Campground since you're here at Satsop Lakes. All the outdoors amusing things in the vicinity of Satsop Lakes will keep you coming back persistently. If the weather is wonderful here at Satsop Lakes, you can go for a hike along the
Skyline Trail, and do take a look at Klone Lakes, it's a beautiful lake. And if that's not enough there's heaps more exciting stuff to do in the Olympic Mountains. A nice nearby hotel is Microtel Inn and Suites-Elma, and it's a good idea to have a look at Pederson Creek.
