You'll need more than a day to look at everything Sanpoil Lake has to offer, you can camp at Curlew Lake Campground. Yeah, come here to Sanpoil Lake for a good time. A tour to Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area is worthwhile, and going for a hike on the Tenmile Trail is always a nice adventure. Sanpoil Lake is pretty dried up typically; most of the snow falls through December,       and the driest of the months is October. There are good places to look at along the Laws Trail, and a lake nearby is Curlew Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There is a great hiking trail in the neighborhood of Sanpoil Lake called the Golden Harvest Trail, and from Sanpoil Lake you obtain a splendid view of Gold Hill. Sanpoil Lake is a wonderful location to visit for more than one day, Miller's Campground and RV Park is a wonderful location to camp nearby,                  needless to say you could also take a look at Malo Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. During the warm days of summer here at Sanpoil Lake, high temperatures generally reach the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 40's.
