Sandy Shore Lake is a nice lake to visit. The Olympic Mountains scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. Port Ludlow Golf Course is a nice golf course close by, and why not camp at Leland Lake Campground if you're here at Sandy Shore Lake. At Sandy Shore Lake you don’t see much precipitation; the wettest month of the year is typically December, that's the one that rains the most while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.

| | High temperatures at Sandy Shore Lake through the days of summer are in the 70's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are typically in the 40's, and night lows all through the wintertime for Sandy Shore Lake tend to be in the 30's. There's glorious hiking along the Deadfall Trail, and a great close by hotel is Inn At Port Hadlock. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Olympic Mountains. time here at Sandy Shore Lake. The Mount Zion Trail offers hiking at its best, and after a long day outdoors The Resort At Port Ludlow is a brilliant place to spend a night or two.
