  Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things in the Northern Cascade Range. About 33% of the trails covering the 635 acres of skiing land at White Pass are hard while 67% of the trails are green and blue. Skiers love White Pass; it's a tremendous ski hill. The 1,500-foot altitude difference at close by ski hill White Pass is great; it has 32 trails covered by 29 feet of fluffy snow per year, served by 6 good ski lifts. Sand Lake is one of the lakes here in
    the Northern Cascade Range.
Sand Lake Trail has a difference between top and bottom of 1,973 feet; this wonderful hiking trail is 7 miles in length.
