Summertime highs at Lake Samish commonly tend to be in the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the       30's overnight here at Lake Samish. This lake is so wonderful. If time allows, Lake Chelan National Recreation Area is a national park worth stopping at, and the skiing at Mt.Baker is fine. Nearby lakes? Sure, Lizard Lake is near Lake Samish, and Lake Samish is a great place to visit for more than one day, Lake Samish Terrace is a great place to camp nearby. Lake Samish is a good location of normal rain; November is the wettest month with most rain; July is                  the month with the least moisture. Any time is a great time at Lake Samish if you fancy the outdoors. There are some great whitewater spots on Whatcom Creek, and Best Western Lakeway Inn is a good spot to get some rest. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Skookum Creek, and you're most likely keen on lakes, Lily Lake is one of those close by. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Samish Terrace Park is a pleasant local campground. This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Cascade Range. So many cool things in the Northern Cascade Range, just inspiring.
