Go to Salmon Bay if you want to go to a nice lake. Beaches are perfect; and Alki Beach close to Salmon Bay is no exception, and Salmon Bay is not the only site close by, Magnolia Manor Reservoir is a close by lake. Why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Greenlake Golf Course; dry warm beds await you at Best Western Inn. This lake is so wonderful. Why not have a look at Meadow Point also if you're here, and if you're here at Salmon Bay, checking out Magnolia Bluff is a must. Whitewater paddling is fine on Duwamish River, and if you came to camp Overland Trailer Court is a brilliant location to do that. Oakwood Seattle is a good choice.
This lake is so wonderful. The scenery at Hiram M Chittenden Locks and Dam next to Salmon Bay is pretty, and since you're here you will meet lots of people from close by Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue.
For the period of the warmest time of the year at Salmon Bay temperatures are regularly in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 40's; overnight
