If you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Colville is a splendid choice; camping at North Gorge Campground is always a great experience. Visiting Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area is just something you need to do if you haven't yet, and Ryan Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Snag Cove Campground is a wonderful local campground. If only every spot had this much outdoors amusing       things, what a great globe it would be. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Sherman Creek. Ryan Lake gets very little rainfall; December is when you get the most snow here; the driest of the months is September. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Perkins Lake, and get dripping wet paddling on Kettle River. Summer at Ryan Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and the nighttime is a tad cooler of course, mostly in the 40's. Highs throughout                  the wintertime are frequently in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Ryan Lake.
