There's so much to do here at Lake Ruth that you need to camp here for a while, Eightmile Lake Campground is a delightful place for that; you can go for a hike on the Snow Lakes Trail. Trail which is a perfect hiking trail. A great deal of rain falls at Lake Ruth; during the month of January you get the most snow around here, and the driest of the months is July.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Northern
Cascade Range. Cashmere Mountain is simple to spot from Lake Ruth, and Quality Inn & Suites is a good spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. The smiling folks of Ellensburg like to hang out close by. This lake is so wonderful.
You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lake Ruth has to offer, you can camp at Ida Creek Campground, and get your heart beating on the pleasant whitewater of Icicle Creek.
If you're here at Lake Ruth, you could stop by Bob Creek, and going for a hike on the County Line Trail is always a pleasant adventure.
