This lake is so wonderful. Calkins Dam is a wonderful site close to Ruggs Lake, and unsurprisingly Mill Creek is a beautiful stream that is worth checking out. The high level of precipitation makes Ruggs Lake a reasonably wet location; the wettest month of the year is typically December, that's the one that rains the most while July is the month with the       least amount of precipitation. Throughout the months of summer, highs usually are in the 70's at Ruggs Lake. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Ruggs Lake temperatures drop to the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Harbour Pointe RV Park; for you golfers we recommend close by Everett City Walter E Hall Memorial Golf Course. So many                  cool things to do here at Ruggs Lake, too glorious to be true. Dry warm beds await you at Everett Mall Travelodge, and if you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pilchuck Creek. If you need a spot to stay Days Inn Seattle/Everett is a glorious choice, and Ruggs Lake is a glorious place to visit for more than one day, Silver Lake Recreational Park is a glorious place to camp nearby.
