Do stop by Ruby Lake while you're in this part of Washington. Sloan Creek Campground is a brilliant local campground, and dry warm beds await you at Suncadia Resort. The summit of Painted Mountain can be spotted from Ruby Lake, and Stephens Pass is a very popular ski area in close proximity. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool things the Northern Cascade Range has to offer. Whitewater paddling is nice on Sauk River - North Fork.

Going for a hike along the Fire Creek Way will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and swing by Skalabats Creek it's a nice place to stop at. This lake is so wonderful. Ruby Lake is a glorious spot to visit for more than one day, Owl Creek Campground is a glorious spot to camp nearby; Ruby Lake is right by the Lost Creek Ridge Trail. cool stuff, what a great globe it would be. Sloan Creek has a glorious whitewater paddling spot close by; hiking along the Camp Creek Ridge Trail is pleasant fun.
All the water falling down from the sky makes Ruby Lake a wet location;
the month with most of the rain is November while July is regularly the driest month. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Ruby Lake while nighttime lows are mostly in the 50's. Highs throughout the winter are
generally in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Ruby Lake. Ruby Lake is located in the Northern Cascade Range.
