Get wet paddling on Sloan Creek; if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Skalabats Creek. A charming lake like Camp Lake near Ruby Lake is a perfect site to pop by; do take a hike on the Lost Creek Ridge Trail. Throughout the days of summer at Ruby Lake highs are typically in the 70's. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 50's. All through the winter the highs are       usually in the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for Ruby Lake. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the Northern Cascade Range. Glide down the rapids of Sauk River - North Fork in a kayak, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Fire Creek Way. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Ruby Lake. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Stephens Pass is in the neighborhood of Ruby Lake, and a wonderful place to                  camp here at Ruby Lake is Sloan Creek Campground. Ruby Lake is a wet spot that gets a good deal of precipitation; November is when you get the most rain here; the driest of the months is July. This place, the Northern Cascade Range, has so much outdoors fun stuff. Painted Mountain is wonderful and can be observed from Ruby Lake, and you can have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Camp Creek Ridge Trail. Why not camp at Owl Creek Campground if you're here at Ruby Lake, and Hardtack Lake is a great lake nearby. This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful.
