There's some flowing water nearby, Dry Creek is a stream you can go to during your stay, and camping is available at Memaloose State Park. There are plenty of people from Hood River here at Rowland Lake, and whitewater paddling is tremendous on Rattlesnake Creek. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things in the Northern Cascade Range. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at       Mosier Springs, and one of the main highlights of the surroundings of Rowland Lake is Tracy Hill. Rowland Lake commonly gets a good deal of rain; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow, and the driest of the months is July. A glorious close by hotel is Lyle Hotel; there's good hiking along the Little Baldy Trail. Now, you may believe that's loads but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Rowland Lake. If you need a spot to stay                  City Center Motel is a tremendous choice, and Cooper Spur has perfect slopes and a friendly staff. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place. A great place to camp here at Rowland Lake is Columbia River Gorge Camping. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Klickitat River is so much fun; if you've had enough of Rowland Lake, Look Lake is close by. That right there is lots of cool stuff already but it goes on, the Northern Cascade Range has it all. Hit the beach if you want, Koberg Beach is practically right here; don't leave Rowland Lake without first going for a hike along the Fifteenmile Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Golf can be played at Husum Hills Golf Course, and great hiking is available along the Bottle Prairie Trail. High temperatures at Rowland Lake all through the summer months are in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 40's.
