Lilly Lake is a perfect lake next to Round Lake; a tremendous close by hotel is Lake Quinault Lodge. Round Lake is right by the Skyline Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Tshletshy River offers some great whitewater. Round Lake gets much water; the month with most of the rain is November, and the driest month of the year is July. Lakes are       such peaceful sites, why not explore Three Lakes in the neighborhood of Round Lake; you can have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Canyon Creek Hoh Trail. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Round Lake. For the period of the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Round Lake are in the 30's. And that's not all you can do here at Round Lake. Round Lake is glorious                  enough to spend more than a day at, Gatton Creek Campground is a glorious local campground; lots of folks from Port Angeles come here. So many enjoyable things to do here in the Olympic Mountains, too good to be true. A splendid place to camp here at Round Lake is Rain Forest Resort Village. This lake is one of the great places here in the Olympic Mountains. Man, is there plenty of entertaining things to do in the Olympic Mountains.
