What a nice lake Rose Lake is. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Canal Side Resort & Motel is a nice choice; paddling on Skokomish River - South Fork is so much fun. A good nearby hotel is Union Bay Hot Tub Cabins; close to Rose Lake you hit upon a golf course called Lake Cushman Golf Course. That right there is loads of fun things already but it goes on, the Olympic Mountains has it all. Drift down the rapids of Vance Creek in a kayak, and

This is a popular spot for folks from Shelton, and if you're here, you could also pop by lovely Stevens Lake. You feel that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Rose Lake is a glorious site to camp, Potlatch State Park Campground is a glorious site, and Minerva Beach Mobile Village is a delightful campground here. Rose Lake is one of the lakes here in the Olympic Mountains. All the water falling down from the sky makes Rose Lake a wet place; December is the month that gets the most rain while July is the month with the least
amount of precipitation. Summer at Rose Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's with temperatures at Rose Lake dipping down into the 30's through winter nights.
