Green River Gorge Resort is a great campground nearby, and dry warm beds await you at Kings Valu Inn. This lake is so wonderful. If you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on South Praire Creek, and there are swamps here too, Bear Swamp is in the vicinity. You absolutely have to fancy the Northern Cascade Range. Don't leave Rock Quarry Lake without first going for a hike along the Clearwater Trail; you're most likely addicted to lakes, White River Mill Pond is one of those close by. Just can't get enough of Rock Quarry Lake.
