If you are traveling by, why not stop by Rock Lakes. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things in the Northern Cascade Range. Rodeway Inn & Suites is a glorious location to get some rest, and the Granite Trail is a good hiking trail close by. The skiing at Loup Loup Ski Bowl is fine, and if the weather is perfect, you can go for a hike along the Beaver Lake Trail. There is a magnificent hiking trail next to Rock Lakes called the Ray Trail, and camping is available at Rock Creek Campground. Not much rainfall falls here at Rock Lakes; most of the snow falls all through December, and the driest month of the year is July.

Western Peppertree Omak Inn, and a tremendous place to camp here at Rock Lakes is Rock Lakes Campground. Summertime at Rock Lakes comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 40's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Rock Lakes.
