Around Rock Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; the month with most of the snow is December while July is ordinarily the driest month. Not far from Rock Lake you get some brilliant water scenery at Rock Lake Dam. There's so much to do here at Rock Lake that you need to camp here for a while, River Rue is a good site for that. After a long day outdoors Eight Bar B Motel is a fine place to spend a night or       two, and lakes are such peaceful locations, why not go to Coffeepot Lake. At Rock Lake through the summer highs are in the 80's, and the night is slightly colder of course, mostly in the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are ordinarily in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Rock Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
