The high level of rain makes Rock Lake a relatively wet place; most of the rain falls during December, and the driest month of the year is July. This lake is so wonderful. Malachite Falls is an inspiring location to pop by while here; Foss River Campground is a magnificent campground nearby. There is a brilliant hiking trail near Rock Lake called the Middle Fork Trail. Lakes? Sure, Panorama Lake is close at hand. Stay the night at West Fork Campground,

| | and a perfect nearby hotel is Howard Johnson Snoqualmie/Summit. A splendid spot for whitewater paddling in the vicinity of Rock Lake is Miller River - East Fork. Whohoo, so many amusing things in one place! Rock Lake is great! Head up to Stephens Pass and strap some skis to your feet, and Malachite Peak is a peak you can observe from Rock Lake. in the vicinity of Rock Lake, and in the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Foss River. This lake is so wonderful. A day on the slopes of Alpental is just what you need, and going
for a hike on the Escondido Trail is always a pleasant adventure. For the duration of the warm days of summer, highs mostly are in the 70's at Rock Lake. Summer night lows dip down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime
come with highs in the 40's while Rock Lake overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 30's. This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Cascade Range.
