Get yourself into a kayak and hit Nason River, and hiking along the Davis Peak Lookout Trail is perfect fun. Summertime highs at Rock Lake generally tend to be in the 60's with overnight lows in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and overnight lows through the wintertime for Rock Lake tend to be in the 10's. And that's not all the things to do here in the Northern Cascade Range. There's so much to do here at Rock       Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Soda Springs Campground is a wonderful site for that, and Rock Lake is not the only site close by, Crescent Lake is a close by lake. This lake is so wonderful. And if that's not sufficient, there's a load more to do in the vicinity of Rock Lake. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Icicle Trail, and Rock Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Lake Creek Campground is a great local campground. Crescent                  Creek is a picturesque stream that is worth a visit, and there are some fine whitewater spots on Lake Creek. Rock Lake is right by the Lake Michael Trail; at Rock Lake you can see Arrowhead Mountain. Just can't get enough of the Northern Cascade Range. Looking for something close to Rock Lake?
