This lake is one of the great places here in the Wenatchee Mountains. You'll find a delightful lake called Rock Island Pool near Rock Island Lake; there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Mission Ridge. Man, is there plenty of cool things to do in the neighborhood of Rock Island Lake. Do check out Hammond Lake       right next door to Rock Island Lake, it's a pretty lake, and Orondo River Park is a pleasant local campground. So much fun stuff to do here in the Wenatchee Mountains, too great to be true. Here at Rock Island Lake there are plenty of folks from Wenatchee, and swing by Rock Island Creek it's a wonderful spot to explore. A great place in the vicinity of Rock Island Lake is Dry Gulch, and if you need a place to stay Cedars Inn is a great choice. All year is                  a pleasant time in the Wenatchee Mountains if you adore the outdoors. A glorious nearby hotel is Cave B Inn at SageCliffe, and Rock Island Dam is a place that is close to Rock Island Lake. This lake is so wonderful. An afternoon playing golf at Rock Island Golf Course is always a pleasure. This lake is so wonderful. Nixon Rapids is a good local attraction, and if you came for an overnight stay Lincoln Rock State Park is a perfect site to camp. During the warm months at Rock Island Lake temperatures are regularly in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's.
