There's pleasant hiking along the Green Leaf Trail.       There's so much to do here at Rock Creek Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Beacon Rock Resort is a wonderful location for that. Now, you may assume that's loads but there's even more fun stuff to do here in the Northern Cascade Range. If you get bored of Rock Creek Lake, you could also pop by close by Carpenters Lake, and whitewater paddling is glorious on Rock Creek - Columbia River Tributary. Throughout the summertime at Rock Creek Lake highs are                  frequently in the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are mostly in the 40's, and night lows during the winter for Rock Creek Lake tend to be in the 30's. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful.
