If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Olympic Mountains. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at nearby Blackwood Lake, and after a long day outdoors Lake Quinault Lodge is a splendid place to spend a night or two. The Lovers Lane offers hiking at its best, and Soleduck River is a nice whitewater spot nearby. Ring Lake is       a rather wet place mostly with much precipitation; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month. These mountains rock, just explore all the exciting things to do in the Olympic Mountains. Ring Lake is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Soleduck Campground is a splendid local campground, and a delightful place for whitewater paddling is Soleduck River - North Fork. This lake is so wonderful. Camp                  Creek flows through this neighborhood, and Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort is a tremendous place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Canyon Creek Hoh Trail, and the top of Misery Peak is easily distinguished from Ring Lake. And if that's not enough, there's a heap more to do near Ring Lake. Not far from Ring Lake, you'll find Mink Lake which is a pretty lake; there's wonderful hiking along the Mink Lake Trail. For the period of the months of summer highs here at Ring Lake get into the 70's. During the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 40's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Ring Lake. The Olympic Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
