That right there is a heap of exciting things already but it goes on, the Olympic Mountains has it all. Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort is a great place to get some rest; hiking is a popular thing to do around Ring Lake; Canyon Creek Hoh Trail is a fine local trail. High temperatures at Ring Lake during the warm months are in the 70's, and all through the night it cools down to the 40's. The cold days       of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Ring Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A scenic lake like Mink Lake near Ring Lake is a good spot to have a look at, and great hiking is available along the Lovers Lane. Dry warm beds await you at Lake Quinault Lodge, and soar down the rapids of Soleduck River in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. During your spree to Ring Lake you'll meet some folks from Port Angeles                  for sure; Soleduck Campground is a perfect campground nearby. Be careful coming to the Olympic Mountains, you might not ever want to go home again. Blackwood Lake is a great lake close to Ring Lake, and why not take a little visit to Camp Creek since you're here. The sight of striking Misery Peak near Ring Lake is wonderful, and if you came for an overnight stay Hoh Campground is a good place to camp. But wait, there's more to do in the neighborhood of Ring Lake. Don't leave Ring Lake without first going for a hike along the Mink Lake Trail, and paddling on Soleduck River - North Fork is so much fun.
