Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Northern Cascade Range. But wait, there's more amusing stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Camping at Riffe Lake Campground is always a nice experience, and going for a hike on the Coldwater Trail is always a good adventure. Mossyrock Dam is not far at all from Riffe Lake; if you're visiting from Centralia, you won't be the only one. Riffe Lake is a reasonably wet place ordinarily       with lots of rain; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain; July on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such peaceful places, why not go to Swofford Pond close to Riffe Lake, and you can go for a hike on the Toutle River Trail. You feel that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Get your pulse rate up on the perfect whitewater of Tilton River, and don't forget to take a brilliant little tour to Sulphur Creek.                  This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Cascade Range. High temperatures at Riffe Lake throughout the long summer days are in the 70's while nighttime lows are generally in the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Riffe Lake.
