    Do stop by Ridley Lake while you're in this part of Washington. This lake is so wonderful. Desolation Peak is a peak you can observe from Ridley Lake, and if the weather is splendid, you can go for a hike along the Sourdough Lookout Trail. You truly have to love Ridley Lake. Having a great time in the Northern Cascade Range is painless. Ridley Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Hozomeen Campground is a good local campground, and if you're here you  
   can take a hike along the East Bank Trail.
There's so much to do here at Ridley Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Cat Island Campground is a fine site for that, and the Jack Mountain Trail is a great hiking trail close by. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. Throughout the summer highs here at Ridley Lake reach the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's while
 
               the cold winter nights at Ridley Lake are in the 20's.
Ridley Lake gets much water; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Stetattle Creek; there are some glorious whitewater spots on Granite Creek.
