    Richmond Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. This lake is so wonderful. On a great day at Richmond Lake you can take a hike along the Nile Ridge Trail, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by White Pass. This location, the Northern Cascade Range, has so much outdoors enjoyable things. Bumping Crossing Campground is a good campground here; why not head up to Crystal Mountain and strap some skis to your feet. For  
   the duration of the summertime months at Richmond Lake temperatures are commonly in the 70's. All through the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's with temperatures at Richmond Lake dipping down into the 20's through winter nights.
If the weather is good here at Richmond Lake, you can go for a hike along the Richmond Mine Trail, and after a long day outdoors Suncadia Resort is a good place to spend a night
 
               or two. There is a tremendous hiking trail in the vicinity of Richmond Lake called the Goat Creek Trail, and a brilliant location for whitewater paddling is American River. So many cool things to do in the Northern Cascade Range, not sufficient time.
And if you're still looking for more outdoors cool stuff just keep reading. Stay the night at Cougar Flat Campground; you can run the rapids of Bumping River. Richmond Lake is a rather wet place generally with a large amount of rain; throughout January this area sees the most rain while July is ordinarily the driest month. Richmond Lake is one of the lakes here in the Northern Cascade Range.
