And that's not all the things to do here in the Northern Cascade Range. The skiing at Snoqualmie is delightful, and Rampart Lakes is a splendid site to visit for more than one day, Commonwealth Campground is a splendid site to camp nearby. Summertime highs at Rampart Lakes commonly tend to be in the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Rampart Lakes are in the 30's.

| | Rampart Lakes is located in the Northern Cascade Range. Much precipitation falls at Rampart Lakes; through January this area sees the most rain; the driest month is July. Just can't get enough of the Northern Cascade Range. Alpental is a great local ski area, and paddling on Box Canyon Creek is so much fun. neighborhood for folks who like lakes. Rachel Lake is a lake in the neighborhood, and don't leave Rampart Lakes without first going for a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 25. This lake is so wonderful. A good close by
hotel is Howard Johnson Snoqualmie/Summit. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Rampart Lakes has to offer, you can camp at Crystal Springs Campground. There's great hiking along the Cooper Pass Trail, and whitewater
paddling is perfect on Snoqualmie River - Middle Fork. Any time is a pleasant time at Rampart Lakes if you have a thing about the outdoors. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at nearby Lake Lillian, and Alta Mountain is clearly visible from Rampart Lakes.
