Why not stop by Rainbow Lake if you're passing through these parts. Camping is available at Depression Lake Campground; get yourself into a kayak and hit Nooksack River - North Fork. Having a magnificent time in the Northern Cascade Range is easy. Marten Lake is a brilliant lake near Rainbow Lake, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Finney Peak Trail. Throughout the warmest time of the year, highs usually are in the 70's at Rainbow Lake, and the nighttime

| | is a tad cooler of course, usually in the 50's. During the winter highs are mostly in the 40's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Rainbow Lake plunge into the 30's.

You just can't envision the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the area near Rainbow Lake has to offer. A wonderful site to camp here at Rainbow Lake is Shuksan Campground, and you could
always look at Avalanche Gorge. This lake is so wonderful. Eagles Nest Motel & RV Park is a perfect place to get some rest, and there are some splendid whitewater spots on Ruth Creek. Dry warm beds await you at Cascade Mountain Lodge; Rainbow Lake is right by the Gee Point Trail.
