Not much rainfall falls here at Rainbow Lake; December is when you get the most snow here while July is regularly the driest month. So much cool stuff in the neighborhood of Rainbow Lake, simply astonishing. Have a perfect hiking adventure along the Panjab Trail, and you can never get enough of the great skiing at Bluewood. This lake is so wonderful. Waterman Gulch is a good location to look at. There's       so much to do here at Rainbow Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Tucannon Campground is a glorious site for that. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Weinhard Hotel is a wonderful choice. After a long day outdoors Pioneer Motel is a delightful place to spend a night or two, and Rainbow Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, The Last Resort RV Campground and Store is a wonderful local campground. Rainbow Lake is right                  by the Salter Trail, and the peak of Goat Mountain can be distinguished from Rainbow Lake. Very fine water scenery is available at Rainbow Lake Dam right next door to Rainbow Lake; hiking along the Rattlesnake Trail is delightful fun. For the duration of the summer months at Rainbow Lake highs are typically in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. Highs through the winter are frequently in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Rainbow Lake are in the 20's.
