If you are traveling by, why not stop by Rainbow Lake. Having a nice time at Rainbow Lake is painless. You can run the rapids of Stehekin River close to Rainbow Lake, and you can stay the night at Company Creek Campground. This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Cascade Range. Rainbow Lake generally gets a great deal of precipitation; during the month of November you get the most rain around here, and July is the month with the least moisture.

This lake is so wonderful. Battalion Creek is in the vicinity of Rainbow Lake and is always a joy to pop by, and a pleasant nearby hotel is Freestone Inn And Cabins. All year is a good time in the Northern Cascade Range if you go
for the outdoors. A pleasant site for whitewater paddling right next door to Rainbow Lake is Granite Creek, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Rainbow Lake; West Fork Methow Trail is a brilliant local trail.
There's great hiking along the Rainbow Lake Trail; McGregor Meadows is a glorious location here at Rainbow Lake.
