All the water falling down from the sky makes Rainbow Lake a wet location; November is when you get the most rain here; July is the month with the least moisture. Rainbow Falls Campground is a wonderful campground nearby, and the peak of Bowan Mountain can be seen from Rainbow Lake. Rainbow Lake is a beautiful lake in the Northern Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. There are great places to look at along the Rainbow Lake       Trail; if you need a spot to stay Adventure Inn is a perfect choice. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Northern Cascade Range. Go for a hike on the West Fork Methow Trail, and get your heart beating on the nice whitewater of Stehekin River. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors fun stuff the area in the neighborhood of Rainbow Lake has to offer. If you came for an overnight stay Company Creek Campground is a wonderful site to camp; McGregor                  Meadows is a wonderful place. Good hiking is available along the Park Creek Trail; a wonderful location for whitewater paddling is Granite Creek. Yep, outdoors entertaining stuff truly is bountiful here in the Northern Cascade Range. It's a pleasant idea to take a look at Battalion Creek, it's close to Rainbow Lake. Summertime highs at Rainbow Lake regularly tend to be in the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's.
