    What a nice lake Rachel Lake is. So much exciting stuff to do here in the Northern Cascade Range, too splendid to be true. Nearby lakes? Sure, Box Canyon Lake is in the vicinity of Rachel Lake, and Alta Mountain is painless to spot from Rachel Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Pacific Crest Trail - section 25, and there's whitewater on Box Canyon Creek for all you adrenaline rush seekers. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing  
   to do around Rachel Lake; Middle Fork Trail is a magnificent local trail, and if you need a place to stay Suncadia Resort is a perfect choice.
Good hiking is available along the Cooper Pass Trail; Alta Pass is a perfect site to spend some time. For the duration of the summer months here at Rachel Lake, high temperatures regularly reach the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the period of the winter the highs are usually in the
 
               40's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Rachel Lake sink into the 30's. You think that's enough? Just getting warmed up. A quick tour to Silver Creek close to Rachel Lake is a great idea; why not camp at Crystal Springs Campground if you're here at Rachel Lake.
Rachel Lake is a beautiful lake in the Northern Cascade Range. Camping at Rachel Lake is nice fun, Commonwealth Campground is a nice local campground; tremendous skiing awaits you at Alpental.
Rachel Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; January is the wettest month with most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. Man, is there a load of fun stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range. There are some splendid whitewater spots on Snoqualmie River - Middle Fork; you can never get enough of the tremendous skiing at Snoqualmie.
