This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Cascade Range. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun things in the neighborhood of Rachel Lake. Now, you may believe that's a load but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here in the Northern Cascade Range. Alta Mountain is uncomplicated to spot from Rachel Lake; some close by water includes Silver Creek. Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! The Northern Cascade Range is peerless!

| | If you're here, you might as well pop by Alta Pass, and Rachel Lake is a tremendous location to visit for more than one day, Commonwealth Campground is a tremendous location to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. On a good day at Rachel Lake you can take a hike along the Cooper Pass Trail, and you can never get enough of the nice skiing at Snoqualmie. You believe that's sufficient? is wonderful, you can go for a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 25. Rachel Lake commonly gets a good deal of rain; January is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is July. High temperatures
at Rachel Lake during the warm months are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's with temperatures at Rachel Lake dipping down into the 30's throughout
winter nights. Really perfect skiing awaits you at Alpental, and if you need a place to stay Howard Johnson Snoqualmie/Summit is a glorious choice. Not far from Rachel Lake, you'll stumble on Box Canyon Lake which is a beautiful
lake, and get drenched paddling on Box Canyon Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Crystal Springs Campground is a good local campground, and paddling on Snoqualmie River - Middle Fork is so much fun. The Middle Fork Trail is a pleasant hiking trail right next door to Rachel Lake, and Suncadia Resort is a nice site to get some rest.
