In Washington there are many beautiful lakes, Lake Quinault is one of them. Lake Quinault is one of the lakes here in the Olympic Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 40's. Highs all through the winter are ordinarily in the 40's while Lake Quinault overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 30's. Lake. Hiking along the Skyline Trail is glorious fun, and at Lake Quinault you always meet someone from Aberdeen. So much fun stuff to do here at Lake Quinault, too glorious to be true. Don't forget to take a good little spree to Falls Creek, as expected you could also pop by Lake Dilly if you're here; it's not far at all.

(…)...As of August 2008, Wynoochee Valley Road (NFD 22) is closed for 13 miles starting at the intersection with Cougar-Smith north to Camp Grisdale every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. We got stuck at the intersection for 3? hours on Thursday, August 7, as the road didn't open until 6:30 p.m. Rumor is that the paving work and road closures will continue for the next two years....WHEN YOU TAKE THE HIKE AROUND THE LAKE BE SURE YOU TAKE WATER AND FOOD.
