Middle Fork Quilceda Creek is a perfect local stream, and if you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Jim Creek. All the water falling  
   down from the sky makes Quilceda Creek Reservoir a wet place; during December this area sees the most rain, and July is when it's the driest.
Summertime highs at Quilceda Creek Reservoir frequently tend to be in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's.
